About Us
Stan KirschA native New Yorker and cum laude graduate of Duke University, Stan spent his twenties working successfully as an actor. With over a hundred hours of film and television to his credit, Stan’s resume includes FRIENDS, JAG, FAMILY LAW, and a five year stint on the TV series HIGHLANDER. When he hit thirty, Stan got behind the camera for the first time. He has since directed several short and industrial films, notably STRAIGHT EYE: THE MOVIE (Alan Dale, UGLY BETTY and Rex Lee, ENTOURAGE), US ONE NIGHT (Alison Brie, MAD MEN and Liza Weil, GILMORE GIRLS), and the animated television pilot SUPERBUDDIES. Stan has also cast a variety of projects including BREAKDOWN, TRANSGRESSIONS (nominated for a 2007 BAFTA Award for Best Short Film), three seasons of the MTV series INVINCIBLE, and Stan Lee’s TIME JUMPER for Walt Disney Studios.
For the past decade Stan has also been one of the most prominent and sought after acting coaches in Los Angeles. In that time he has worked with thousands of actors to hone their craft and garner success in an otherwise elusive industry. His clientele, comprised of working actors throughout the business, have booked literally hundreds of roles from TV series regulars to film leads, recurring roles and guest stars. In 2008 he and his wife formed Stan Kirsch Studios, where he currently works to further the success of actors on a daily basis.
Kristyn Green (Operations Manager) In addition to her work at Stan Kirsch Studios, Kristyn is also an actress and television host. She recently appeared opposite Debra Messing on USA Network’s THE STARTER WIFE and will soon grace the big screen alongside Faye Dunaway, Ed Begley Jr., Amy Acker and Danica McKellar in the feature film 21 AND A WAKEUP. Horror film fans will also recognize Kristyn as one of the leads of CARVER, which is quickly becoming a cult classic. Since 2008 she has been the host and writer of TRUE COUNTRY, GoTV Networks’ weekly rundown on the country music industry.
Kristyn has also worked extensively behind the camera, most recently as the casting director of Stan Lee’s TIME JUMPER for Walt Disney Studios. From 2003-2005 Kristyn ran BROADWAY BABIES, an organization designed to bring dance and musical theatre to children throughout Los Angeles and its surrounding areas. In 2008 Kristyn co-founded Stan Kirsch Studios with her husband Stan Kirsch, where she currently serves as the Operations Manager.
